Linda Anderson and James Henry co-founded Prosperity Circles. Both have masters degrees in business—Linda with an international emphasis and James with a technology emphasis. Linda and James bring a unique blend of financial and business expertise, as well as mindful and creative approaches that are profound, practical, and fun.
The Prosperity Preparedness Program evolved out of the challenges Linda encountered getting re-directed after leaving the “security” and structure of her work in the corporate world. After 10 years in the corporate world Linda quit her job and moved to Europe to get her MBA at the University of Geneva in Switzerland. After returning from Europe she worked with career counselors, business & financial consultants, therapists, coaches, and a few psychics along the way. Each of them held a piece of her history and vision, but no one could help her hold the big picture, think things through financially, and provide support for follow through. Linda designed the Prosperity Preparedness Program with these issues in mind.
The Prosperity Preparedness Program represents the culmination of over 30 years of Linda’s work, bringing together the best tools, practices, and experience she has found. Linda draws from a toolbox of business consulting skills, computerized accounting set-up, cash flow management, financial analysis, budgeting, and financial counseling. She was a leader for The Business Group for many years, and is a certified One Page Business Plan consultant. She has led One Page Business Planning workshops locally, as well as tele-workshops nationally and internationally. She also studied body oriented psychotherapy and career counseling at JFK University.
Since 1987 Linda has worked with business owners to reshape their business or life to better fit who they are and what really matters, in spite of their self doubt and fear of not having enough money. Linda sees her work as a teaching and healing ministry around prosperity and recognizes the courage it takes to walk this path. In addition to her work leading Prosperity Circles, she is on staff at Unity In Marin, her spiritual community, as the Controller and a prosperity teacher. She is also a trained Unity prayer chaplain.
Her years of education and experience walking this path has given her a unique understanding of the importance of combining her financial and business expertise with her psychological, spiritual, and prosperity consciousness studies and practices. Her big-picture perspective, laser focus, and intuition, as well as the values and common sense she learned growing up on a farm in South Dakota allows her to bring a compassionate and “feet-on-the-ground”, CFO perspective.
James retired from the corporate world after over 30 years in the telecommunications industry in sales, account and team management. Earning his MBA after nearly 13 years of being away from the classroom gave him confidence and reminded him that it’s never too late to pursue a goal.
James’ passion is teaching karate. He has been practicing a Japanese style of karate for over 40 years. He is a master instructor of the Beikoku Wado-ryu style of karate having earned the rank of Kudan, or 9th degree black belt. He sees teaching karate as a vehicle for helping individuals develop coordination, reinforce self-esteem, and for integrating body, mind and spirit. He teaches children, teens, and adults.
James recently acted on another dream by opening his own “brick and mortar” martial arts school in Mill Valley, CA called MOJO DOJO Karate. Dojo in Japanese means school.
They see Prosperity Circles and MOJO DOJO Karate—as a school that fosters leadership, self worth, peace, harmony, and prosperity. Their commitment is to provide support, insight, and a guiding hand and feel it is an honor to work with those inspired to walk this path.
